5 Buffalo Bills not named Josh Allen who is certified building blocks
For this final player, I was split between first round rookie Dalton Kincaid and running back James Cook. The Buffalo Bills offense is going to remain pass heavy as long as Josh Allen is under center because he is their best player and it doesn't make sense to take the ball out of his hands.
However, there needs to be at least a threat of a run game and that is exactly what James Cook brings to this offense. The reason that Cook is so important is that he is a big-play threat running the ball so he doesn't need to run the ball 20 to 25 times to be effective and could break a 20+ run in a blink of an eye.
The other reason that James Cook is key is that he also is a great receiver so he will be heavily involved in that part of the game as well. It would not be surprising to see him finish seasons with 70+ receptions because he can be a reliable safety valve for Josh Allen when plays break down.
This season is expected to be a big one as James Cook likely steps into a featured running back role and should be heavily involved in the offense moving forward.
